pisces new moon

The Pisces New Moon was exact at 1:01am on Sunday, March 10, 2024.

Having spent the weekend with my family, I didn't have time to write a full blog post on the New Moon. But I also had a lovely realization that some energies really aren't meant to be described with words. That's how I feel about Pisces energy in general. It's very enigmatic, creative, dreamy, and full of imagination. This Pisces New Moon was aspecting Uranus, which can help us to find unexpected inspiration. With Pisces, there is a deep desire for the ideal and when reality doesn't measure up it can be depressing. I find that a lot of my creativity is birthed from the tension between my ideal and reality, and playfully approaching these two perspectives, I've found that you can also gain an enhanced ability to problem solve.

My 8 year old has gotten me hooked on Imagine Dragons, his favorite band. There's this song they have called "Waves" that punches me in the gut every time that I hear it. I've cried every single time that I've heard it. This song feels very Piscean to me, and with the lyrics having a focus on time, it's definitely evocative of Saturn in Pisces. Have a listen and a good cry.

Time doesn't hear if you ask it to wait. So own all your tears and just roll with the waves. Life it could change, it could change in a day. So cherish your years and just roll with the waves. Time doesn't hear so just roll with the waves.

I've been writing for about a year on my Substack account, but I've been missing the more casual element of blogging. It has been many years, but I used to have my own blog and I loved filling it with things I love. I anticipate that some of my writing will be posted here on my blog and some will be on Substack. I want to create a space that is fully me and where I can write and share whatever I want.

By the way, did anyone else have any bizarre dreams this past week? With Mercury conjunct Neptune in Pisces and then the New Moon in Pisces following right after, I haven't been surprised to hear that a lot of folks have been experiencing a very active dream life lately!
